Developmental Evaluations

For children up to six years old, developmental evaluations are offered to assess cognitive, motor, language, social-emotional, and adaptive skills. Evaluations may include assessment to rule-out/diagnose autism spectrum disorder and/or developmental delays.

Comprehensive Evaluations

For children ages six and older, comprehensive, individualized psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations are offered to provide diagnostic clarification and to assist with educational and treatment planning. Common referral concerns include:

  • Learning difficulties
  • Dyslexia
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • ADHD
  • Anxiety

Evaluations are tailored to each individual child, and typically include measures of cognitive ability, academic achievement, social-emotional, behavioral, and adaptive functioning.

Cognitive/Admissions Testing

Brief, focused cognitive (intelligence) testing is provided for those seeking private school admissions. Testing will be tailored to the needs of the specific program. Example cognitive/IQ measures available include Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, 5th edition (WISC-V), Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence, 4th edition (WPPSI-IV), and Kaufman Assessment Battery for Children, 2nd edition, normative update (KABC-II NU).
